Setting Sail out of France is the Largest Cruise Ship

Setting Sail out of Saint-Nazaire, France is the Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas.  It set sale on Sunday to a gathering of tens of thousands who came out to watch.  The 1,187 foot long $1.5 Billion dollar vessel holds the current record for the widest cruise ship ever built.

The total capacity is 6,360 passengers and 2,100 crew capacity.  Which makes this float paradise have a capacity more than most cities in the united states.  There are 16 Decks, 20 dinning venues, 23 swimming pools, a skating rink, over 10,000 plants.

Construction of something this large took 32 months and left the French Shipyard heading to his new home port of Barcelona.  The first voyage will be May 22.
